MASTERY LEARNING

Mastery Learning is an educational approach in which students must achieve mastery of a subject before moving forward to learn subsequent information about that subject; learning is built on established understanding. Students are given the time and support they need to reach mastery.

We choose mastery learning because more students achieve higher and more long-lasting results.

This includes flexible placement in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, to provide a suitable challenge for each student.

To be able to offer this we have small class sizes and allow each student to take the time they need to accomplish mastery.

This means that required schoolwork values depth of material, analytical thinking and quality work that shows the students understanding of the topic.

3-5 YEAR OLD

Our preschool offers a program of interwoven fun and learning, allowing the children to learn intuitively. We introduce them to foreign languages, sciences, ecology, music, arts, mathematics, reading and personal values as well as practical life skills.
